Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade VS ChiChi Cosmetics Brow Pomade

image

Eyebrow makeup has been all the rage lately so I have decided to do a comparison review on Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brpw Pomade  vs ChiChi Cosmetics Brow Pomade.

I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the colour ‘Auburn’ & the ChiCho Cosmetics Brow Pomade in ‘Dark Brown’. ChiChi’s definitely is better in price range with Anastasia’s being $32.00 & ChiChi’s one being $14.95.

Firsty I just have to say both products are fantastic, however they do differ. Anastasia has a harder texture which makes it easier to apply less of the product at a time so you don’t get super cakes bold brows. ChiChi’s feels more creamier, so you have to be careful with picking up the product (you most likely will need to swip inside the lid).

While Anastasia’s product helps rebel eyebrow hairs stay in place, ChiChi’s product doesn’t have the same holding power and I have found throughout the day that stray hairs will move out of place which is a bummer.

They are both super easy to apply with an angled eyebrow brush but remember to clean your brush after each use as both products cake up in brushes!

Overall Anastasia’s is definitely better quality but if you want a cheaper option ChiChi’s is almost just as good!! 🙂

P.S always close the lids super tight to stop them from drying out!!!

Limecrime velvetine eBay dupe

image

So I have totally been slacking on the posts lately but when I discovered an exciting limecrime dupe on eBay, I just had to share my thoughts!!

I spend way too much of my time scrolling through eBay. It’s becoming quite an obsession that I can’t control. As I was obsessively scrolling I stumbled across 15 limecrime dupes & picked up the shade ‘Salem’ (With wicked & riot on the way..haha) . These babies cost me under $3.00 each & the Salem dupe arrived within 2weeks.

Firsty..holy hell guys!! It looks sooooo freaking similar it actually shocked me. When I first purchased it, I assumed it would be like my MAC dupe (review in my blog, check it!!) and come in a similar but not exact bottle. Nope, as you can see it’s amazingly similar. Also quite scary because it makes me think how many beauties out there have bought one thinking it’s authentic..yikes!!

I’m seriously amazed with the colour as its so so similar! However you do need to build it with 2 or 3 layers to achieve the same darkness that Salem has but this stuff is pretty sheer and runny so it won’t cake up as bad as if you were to layor a matte lipstick like the real limecrime or even Jeffree star!

The smell makes me hungry haha. It reminds me of cake batter sort of as its smells super sweet and good enough to eat (which I wouldn’t attempt as you know..chemicals!!!!!). I would definitely be purchasing more shades as I’m seriously impressed! You won’t be wasting much money if you decide to purchase & don’t like it 🙂 I have provided the link below.

MAC ‘diva’ dupe.

image

***No matter how many times I tried, I could not capture the correct colour of this lipstick 😦 I have included a photo of the eBay photo as that is more similar to the actual colour.

I found this lipstick while impulse buying a whole heap of random wrap on eBay (whoops!). It was under the name Diva  and actually even came in pretty much the same looking package as MAC lipsticks, with the name diva on the bottom. However, it is definitely not the same but similar however  I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a dupe.

The colour though, is a cute deep red which does look quite sheer if you only apply it with one layer. A major put off for me was the smell!! It has a strange vanilla smell to it that just doesn’t seem right, but that just might be me!!

It did stay on for a good 6 or so hours but did start to look a tiny bit flaky after a few hours (that included breakfast, lunch & multiple drinks before flaking). I’m pretty impressed for the price of it but definitely not a lipstick I will be wearing all the time.

I have included a link to it below which also has many other ‘dupe’ colours available from that seller.

MODELS PREFER Highlighter Quad Palette

In Glitz & Glamour + Fame & Fortune.

imagePhotos do not do these beauty’s justice at all! I tried taking a photo to capture the shine they have but had to settle with the above photo.

Where do I begin!!! These palettes are to die for. The collection comes with three different palettes ‘Glitz & Glamour, Fame & Fortune n Star on the rise’. I only ended up grabbing two of them (left: Glitz & Glamour right: Fame & Fortune) as the Star on the rise palette looked a bit too much like a blush palette instead of a highlighter palette due to the extremely pink shades.

Im a huge highlighter fan and these guys definitely did not disappoint! They have a light creamy texture and produce such a lovely strobe affect that can be built up without looking cakey. They don’t stay on all day but will stay on for about 6 hours with a good setting spray or powder!! The colour on the palettes include (glitz & glamour) light fuchsia, golden peach, pearl white with a pink sheen & pinkish tan (fame & fortune) brown, cooper brown, pearl white & tan. My favourite go to one would have to be Glitz & Glamour as it gives a lovely peachy pearl shade when all mixed together.

Packaging is small and sturdy but shimmer does seem to slightly get out of the cracks if you take it out of home with you and is a little messy. I noticed that if you use all four colours together, after a while you start to get small patches of the colour sort of mixing together due to the creaminess of them.

Overall I give these palettes a 8/10. They can be used for highlighting or even used as eyeshadow. Let me know what you think of these swatches 🙂

15 warm shade eyeshadow palette

905861830

I picked up this palette off eBay a few weeks ago. It’s a 15 warm shade eyeshadow palette. At first, I was actually a bit worried to receive it as I purchased a concealer palette off eBay a few months ago and it smelt like cheap, crappy costume paint :/ (I’ll probably do a review on that one as well as I always see people buying it and it’s sold on every sale website/app you can think of). Anyway, when this palette arrived I was surprised that it didn’t smell as bad as I expected. Saying that though, it still has a slight funky smell to it but not enough to be off putting.

I absolutely LOVE this palette! It’s seriously great for the cheap price it came for (I think $8.99). Most eBay makeup has pretty much no pigment but this palette has a great colour pay off and is super easy to blend with the right brushes. It does have a bit of spillage when applying but it’s easy to remove. It also doesn’t come in the best of cases as its one of the cheap, thin, plastic cases that will easy break if you’re not careful with it.

I have posted a photo of swatches below and also provided a link for the eBay seller I grabbed it off. (Will be uploading updated swatch photos due to silly me missing a colour)
